The Fairy Wood, an unforgettable sensory experience in the most fascinating Forest of the Casentino Forests Park, to observe the awakening of nature from the winter warmth. A forest that captivates the eyes and the soul, strewn with details that take your breath away and make you feel closer to nature.

In the summer of 2016, the “Parco delle Fate” was inaugurated, a naturalistic artistic itinerary made up of ten wooden sculptures depicting fantastic characters (the wood used is different for each sculpture and comes from the woods of the Casentino), each of which has a story to to tell.

“Fairies and elves that animate the path, that can be seen and not seen because they are perfectly integrated in the surrounding environment, force the traveler to look for them with his eyes, as if it were a game of hide and seek“.
